ARTIST’S PROFILE

Elizabeth Brophy has worked as an artist in Ireland since 1993. Prior to that, she lived and painted in Portugal for 13 years, exhibiting there at the Atelier E.C. Gallery, Colares.

Elizabeth’s paintings are in many private and international collections, including the Australian Ambassador to Portugal, Museum of Natural History, New York, Department of Primary Industries, Canberra, France, England and Portugal.

Exhibitions include the Oriel Gallery in 1995, the Eight Bells Gallery, Surfers Paradise between 1976 and 1979, Dimensions in 1985 and 1986, the Atelier E.C. Colares, Portugal, 1988, 1989 and in the Sheridan Gallery, Brisbane in 1983, 1984 and 1990.
