Situated in the heart
of Dublin's museum and gallery district, Oisín Gallery (est. 1978)
profiles contemporary paintings and sculpture by Irish and international
artists. Focusing primarily on contemporary figurative, still life and
realism; the gallery also exhibits abstract and surreal works. Many of the
gallery's artists are represented in public, corporate and private
collections.
The gallery’s priority
is to
encourage and launch the careers of many established & emerging talents,
such as Ronan Goti, Katy Simpson, Katherine Liddy, Alan Kenny, Paddy
Lennon, Thomas Halloran and Owen Rohu, whilst also dealing in significant Irish paintings and
sculpture by artists such as Louis le Brocquy HRHA, John Behan RHA, John Shinnors, Cecil Maguire, John Skelton & Liam O’Neill.
Exhibitions & events are mounted every
four to six weeks and two annual group shows are held in June & November.
